My research question is whether voice is socially constructed or it your own? The importance of the research and what it shows is that according to writing studies there is no clear answer about voice. Being that there is no clear cut answer to what voice is, there are many perceptions of voice that I listed. Voice is important because without both the originality of voice and its socially constructed environment, voice would not exist.  Earned: 43

Audience/genre (40)

I didn’t do anything unparticular to catch my reader’s attention. When I talked about the classroom and how the seat assignments were all of my audience could relate to that particular incident because they were all once children before. When I talked about discourse I defined the term so my audience would know what is was referring too. Earned: 36

My material was organized with titles on each of my sections. When writing paragraphs I had an introduction and conclusion. The paragraphs after the introduction goes along with my literature review Earned: 28

What I choose to use from my data and my literature review supports what I am trying to prove. I used many examples from both researches to support my findings.Earned: 28

I used grammar where it was needed and I also quoted from the literature review.

I decided to give myself this grade because I felt that I had analyzed the data in deep detail. I could of used more data by interviewing a second person, but the data that I have I made use of it.

Even though I was knowledgeable on the topic, I felt that while writing this paper I grew as a writer.

I gave myself these points because I felt that with the knowledge of all the material that I learned in class I put it to great use. My paper flows and does not go of topic. I refer to the literature review when necessary.  I put forth all my effort and tried my hardest.
